Its going to be a crazy race up front i think...heaps of speed..
Words of Magic will have to come across from the outside but will want to be prominent..King Rex , Tornado Alley and Mastermind up front battling it out with him.. Can see it suiting a horse that will sit just of them... Poetic Papal and Umatrick have good draws that should see them posie up.. Lyn's money was good last start and from the inside should be there as well. King Rex the best of the frontrunners.. will back Poetic and Umatrick..and go wide and long with the tris and 1st4's very hard race ..havent much confidence but going to have a go anyway.. Good luck Guys,, |

Even with the speed of the race I don't think your going to want to be to far off the pace in this one from what I heard the other day they are basically racing onb a completely untouched portion of grass from the rail to about 4m from it. After hearing that I can only think the inside is going to be the place to be compared to outside that has had a fair bit of racing on it.
In saying this if Poetic Papal can get a run near the inside he has the perfect for for this race and this is the race they have aparently had this horse set for alla along, I also thought that Lyn's Money had decent form aswell a matter of how far it gets back from the inside barrier if she could get to midfield no worse then she has e/w claims. out of the true front runners Tornado Alley has claims weighted well in this and at around the 20-1 odds on offer is great e/w value the barrier is the only thing that cruels it. Umatrick is obviously in good form aswell hard to knock it really been winning and meets most of it's latest rivals at equal weights if it doesn't get to far back and get cluttered up then it is an obvious chance aswell. 1. Poetic Papal 2. Tornado Alley 3. Lyn's Money 4. Umatrick |

Raw,I really liked the way Rich Megadale hit the line last time out. This is one hell of a tough race. If only Tornado Alley had drawn better, this would have been my only selection...looks like this one is peaking right now and meets Umatrick 5kg better at the weights.Pattelo can handle the big races now, as we all know. I agree with you on Poetic Papal, a great formline coming into this. I'm just a little nervous on the 1200m, as this seems to be as far as he wants to go.
1. Rich Megadeal 2. Poetic Papal 3. Tornado Alley 4. For Valour (bit of a whisper around for this one) I will narrow it down to two pics closer to racetime *** If Mastermind firms in under 3's, I will probably back off. His last win at Gosford suggests he has plenty more to give |

Well done Sir William ..nice tipping there.
Bit chuffed at myself ...gave King Rex a good show but didnt take him for the win. ..never really confident today ..better to sit back and watch when you feel like that.. isnt Cahill riding up a storm....Straddie and now the Ramornie,, Thought Words of Magic and Umatrick ran great races..worth following.. Wish i heard the whisper about For Valour Frankster..would of been a nice 1st 4 .. |
