![]() This horse keeps losing as favourite. I think it has lost its last six starts.
What I can't work out is why it is always favourite. |

![]() I think there are a few reasons
He started his racing career in sensational fashion. He is always given a big write up by the racing media. He always does just enough to get you in next start. Eg. He finished second on Saturday. If he meets a similar field minus the winner at his next start he could easily start favourite again!! |

![]() It's interesting how pundits are bagging the horse because it has six straight defeats as favourite. Most horses go 6 or more runs between wins so Excellerator is not out of the ordinary. The punters/media who dictate the prices are the ones who should take a look at themselves.
I wouldn't mind owning Excellerator ... even during this "poor preperation" he's managed two black type placings and about $50K prizemoney. |
