![]() 1000m Sectionals: Turnbull Stakes.
Field: 58.86 Makybe Diva: 57.61 Confectioner: 57.57 Based on that run he's in with a chance. Would want good ground though.

![]() I don't think he can win it personally - think he is more comfortable over 2000, not 2400. I really don;t know why sir dex is 17 dollars at the moment, he looks the winner to me. I think the other one who is outrageously over the odds is portland singa.
What are peoples views on lachlan river? |

![]() i made a very simple spreadsheet for the turnbull sectionals - but it really shows alot about the race....the four sheets are obviously final 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1200m

Spirit i dont reckon portland singa has the class to win the caulfield cup and i think the 2400 is a bit short for him. hes a bit to one paced for mine. on lachlan river i think hes a very good horse in the making. if he starts he will be very competitive but i believe he will be set up for the carnival next year and will be one to watch |
