SCONE CUP
Not an easy race to line up.
Scone Cup. 4.05pm r7/8 Saxon [5] r7/3 Gorgonite [12] r7/4 Tall Timbers [19] Gorgomite is the only leader in this race on an [almost] constantly turning track. Should get across and lead ok and hopefully use up a bit of petrol doing it. The big danger as I see it is if the race hoops let this horse dominate the pace for it's own ends. I pot for a reasonable pace to set Saxon up for the win but if TT gets a [miraculous] run from that barrier he might win or he'll gets lost out in the wilderness. Newton Rings looks the big danger for the above 3. Saxon for my stab at potting the winner anyway. . Feel free to add your top choice[s]. Last edited by crash : 19th May 2006 at 04:31 AM. |

i think 1400 is as far as Gorganite can go, his barrier and the mile should rule him out.
Langborghini and Saxon look the standouts and the markets are reflecting this at the moment. think i'll just quinella them two. |

I told her: 'no way will that wide gate suit as this track is almost round and the jokey is good, but this class against the guy's"? Anyway, the brake backed the winner for $10 to win because it had a [good] female jockey and it was 2nd in whiteway's ratings in the 'winning post'. No one here in the forum gave it a mention let alone tipped it. Me neither !!

Just gotta brag!!!
I know I didn't tip it here.. but.. I definitely was all over Fighting Fund today and had a big go at it for the win. Plus in a $10- all up Yankee Bet with Solitas and Cyclone At Sea. 200-1 collect there, plus the running doubles. Now.. if that damn 4th one had of got up Still a huge, huge day One of those rare days where the planets align for you. |
