Im heading out to the track for probably one of the drunkest days of my life. Had had a quick look at the races on and a few that i was keen on were

R1??
R2 Rampant Lion
R3 Pappapo
R4 Stepping
R5??
R6 Top Marc
R7??
R8 My Son Day

Anyone got any thoughts on the races?

R1 Shobelle (gunna try for some value, might run on with most likely alot of pace from the amount of runners)
R5 How Brave looks alright, will prob be short tho
R7 Rule By Right

Have fun mate..always a good party day the Ekka Wednesday..

Race 1 . Karelee .... interesting where wallace has placed this horse,he must think a bit of her..has no weight ,races on the speed and jumps from a good barrier.
Race 2. Skyleda ...hitting the line well..just needs a bit of luck ,,drops weight from last start...should be flying late.
Race 3. Hooker Rd / King Latarmiss....finding it hard to split them...
Race 4...Maxy legs...just forget it ran last start..shes a very good mare and will have time here to come over them ..
RAce 5. My Centurion ..looks to good for these...expect a better run from Way Of The World..
Race 6. Picablu...cant believe Omnitrader is still going at 93 starts..credit to the trainer...
Race 7.Harley George / Rule By Right.....harley just ahead from the good barrier..
Race 8. ..looking forward to this race ..interesting to see how Scattergun and Vietnam go first up....i'll be looking at Step Right In back to a more suitble distance and i think Milady Clang can figure 1stup...

Hey HW,

Ekka Day is a great day at the races, only if ure drunk with the crowd tho ...

Race 1 - Maybe Karalee with no weight, but my advice is save ure money. Take Off and Razydancer could go well too.

Race 2 - Rampant Lion, if he hasn't gone over the top, is well suited here. Poppy Power races like the trip will suit. Skyleda, who would be running on at the end of a 10000m race, could fill a place.

Race 3 - Teletrader too good. Hooker Road to stick on for a placing along with Pappapo.

Race 4 - Giacometti to be too quick for them. She hasn't raced up to expectations her last 2 for mine, but these aren't top class. Maxy Legs and Stepping for the minors.

Race 5 - Mellifluous here. Got home well last time and wasn't really tested. Superb Girl and How Brave the placings. My Centurion still hasn't run a good rating, so i'm willing to take him on.

Race 6 - Appertain, Omnitrader, Picablu. NEXT!

Race 7 - Should be Harley George's race. Coming back from 3yo class to this race suits him perfectly. Finally drawn a good gate too. Rule By Right and The Great I Am for the placings, after good recent runs.

Race 8 - Best race on the card. Step Right In over Scattergun and My Son Day, but there are a host of chances, and most of these are going on to bigger and better things, i think. Can't wait for the race.

Yep, Teletrader looks an eachway special to me, but only if the track is no worse than dead.

cheers guys although i think picking a winner would be a bonus on top of whats gunna be a great day.

Hoof pads on My Centurian is a worry...Way of the World with the blinkers looks a better bet...
really like Skyleda today..
Sexyaz in Sydney ..and Loutonne in melbourne both worth a looksy...should both be nice odds..

So nobody else backed the special?
