Nice Work CP ....
Can I ask how you would go about replacing jockeys or adding a new jockey to this system ? |

Aaaah, yes you can.
A very good question too. The idea is that any jockey can go through a bad patch, even with very good rides, but the others should carry you through to profit. Addressing your question though, I took the best performed jockeys which had ridden more than 100 Techform top rated horses and looked at the proven performers only. Jockeys will be added or deleted rarely, except in the case of a massive rise to fame or fall from grace, even 10 good or bad rides will not alter my list. As each jockey makes up a small portion of the profit, I'll be montoring each jockeys strike rate on these horses only and if they really take a turn for the worse by halving their strike rate in any quarter (three months), I'll ditch them. It's not fair to ditch them over winter and the like where they get very few rides on Good tracks. The advantage of this little method, is that an "off the boil" jockey does not get very many 100 Techform rides, and an in-form jockey gets the most. One jockey in Perth that I'm monitoring very closely is the apprentice M Ewe. I feel he's a potential future star and could even come to ride in Melbourne and Sydney. It's not based on his tally of winners, but the way he rides.

I thought that jockey had to go back home? His visa had run out. Sure though he will be back sometime.
