Flemington:

Race 1-2 AIRSTREAM: I like Airstream in this one, i think its the class runner of the field. Won a similar race over this distance at flemington in March, and has been pretty consistent last prep. Coming back from a 28 week spell, the last two runs were both 2nds over 1400m. should be coming back stronger, has a good fresh record and has won at both the track and distance. $7.00 is good value

Race 3-10 KOSI BAY, 12 REGGIE, 13 Celtic Bloom: Willing to risk Valkrie Diva in this won, which might start pretty short. stepping up to the 2000m for the first time after winning over the mile last start but i think there were better runs in that race. Celtic Bloom is a nice stayer who has won 4 times 2000m and above. finished 3rd to valkyrie diva when 13th at the turn good effort. Reggie was a similar run to celtic bloom in that race first up and will be better for that run. has won 3 from 4 at the distance and is unbeaten at the track. Kosi Bay was 3rd in the Myer Classic beaten 1.5 lengths finishing very fast, its fitter now and the distance suits.

Race 5-9 SPLASHING OUT: Nicely bred type that threw in a good run last start in the Grp 1 Ascot Vale 1200m at this track. before that was a win in the Grp 3 Thoroughbred Club and has won twice at the distance. nice light weight and has drawn barrier one.

Race 7-1 ROYAL IDA: Has been racing in good form recently before failing behind Perfectly Ready a couple of weeks ago. before that was a very good win in a similar class over this track and distance - up .5 kg on that. $5.50 looks pretty good

Race 8-3 VANQUISHED: Looks well placed in this one, has had a good prep so far wihtout breaking through. came 3rd in the Metropolitan in early october before turning in a good 2nd in the Geelong Cup. came 3rd behind maybe better in the saab last week and that form reads well. 2500 suits and should be thereabouts and $3.50 fixed looks nice.

In sydney i like Mystifies in the 3rd each way and Amen in the 6 at short odds
