![]() bit of a misleading title i guess but looking at all that time talk going on in here i figured ok thats a possible selection method ...amy way its dead easy and gets some good resullts i just look at the horses likely to start 6s or less and look at their last 3 times ..lowest total is your selection.. easiest example i can give is today at kalgooly race five
no1 last 3 time were 1.19 1.17 1.17 no.3 ...1.29 1.36 1.17 no5 1.10 1.11 1.17 selection was 5 |

![]() Interesting... So what you are saying is take the horse under $6 that has ran a shorter distance than the others ?
ie the lower times are a result of a shorter distance race. As in your example No 5 had raced 2 1200m races and number 3 and number 1 shortest distances were 1300m. Good Luck. |

![]() what if a horse runs over 1000,1100,1200m and then steps up to 1800m?
by your ratings it would rate high but horses jumping in distance like that usually lose also one of the last 3 starts could be on a wet track which disadvantages it compared to others i think simple methods are fine but you have to be fair to all horses |

if its likely to start 10s or under..best average time is the selection and must have had at least 3 runs....good results today... |

![]() ok another amendment....using the afore mentioned selection method apply it only if there are 2 horses likely to start at lesss than 3.99 ..and then back it for a place??
