Could someone please just refresh the rules for qtab ratings as i noticed it was using 98raters for w/beal on monday R4 and there seemed to be more than 2 selections and according to the tipping comp it only had 2 bets in M.R/4 ....good punting folks !

The rules for the QTab system for the punting competition are:

Good/Fast tracks ONLY
Mon-Fri meetings only
Bet on 98/99/100 raters as follows:
Bet on 100 raters with price from $11.00 to $19.90
Bet on 99 raters with price from $13.00 to $19.90
Bet on 98 raters with price from $15.00 to $24.90

The "price" is the last update price shown on the Tabcorp website PRIOR to the jump (usually labelled as 0m but it depends on whether race jumps on time or late).

If you have noticed any that match these rules that I have missed then please post a message or email the tipping address and I will correct the results.

I think #s 8+9 in W.beal R4 would have qualified as well would that be correct ..and thank you for the reply ...cheers

#8 Gliding Home was rated 98 and priced at $13.40
#9 Miss Libby was also rated 98 and priced at $14.30

98 raters need to be between $15.00 and $24.90 to be included so both are under the required price and that is why they were not included.

Just had another look at the Tabcorp site for that race and realised the 0m prices given are exactly the same as the final approximates which means they must have been posted after the jump (Tabcorp has an annoying habit of doing this!). Therefore I should use the -1m prices for working out the selections. Based on this #8 Gliding Home would have been a selection (it was $15.10 at the -1m time) so I will include this in the results when I update the results tonight. #9 Miss Libby was still under the $15.00 minimum so it is not a selection.
