Wink Melbourne Cup

It's all over........!
Don't concern yourself with worrying about all the lead-up races etc... just get on while you can get a decent price......!
If any punters or form students witnessed the recent win of SCORPION in the U.K. there should be no doubt as to which runner will win this year's premier event.
My advice is to get on while the odds are very attractive.

Cheers.

Yeah suds,

Rarely do we witness a "champion" which is clearly superior to any racehorse we, here in Oz can put up against him.
I've also secured succulent odds and will be waiting in line to collect on race-day.

Good luck to you!
Cheers.

I actually got on it today and just read your post now...

I have to admit it is the pick of the horses left that are competing and at odds of up to $19 it definitely has some value.

Good Luck.

Yeah wesmip1,

those are certainly attractive odds and it may provide you with the opportunity of creating a "dutch book" or have some "saver" bets to cover your outlay-but that is up to you...I'm sure you have it under control.
Anyone else have any nominations which may be value at the moment?
Let's face it...no matter how superior some runners appear to be in relation to their rivals there is always the "great leveller"....the great uncertainty of racing!

Good luck to you.

I'll nominate another prospect for the Melbourne Cup irrespective of how it runs in the Caulfield Cup:
Maybe Better,
trained by the astute Brian Mayfield-Smith who has been bringing this horse along nicely this Spring just intensifying it's training regime as it now contests longer races and tougher opposition. If he wins either of the big cup races it will be as a result of a masterful campaign executed by one of the top trainers in this country.

Cheers.
