![]() Gday All
I don't post much but look in . I am testing a lay system on paper , since 9 april 2010 it has had 383 selections ( missed some days and weekends ) upto yesterday. These are the stats from the software TSM ( i put the data in ) Total bets 383 Total wins (losses) 346 SR 90.34% Required SR 87.1% average odds $7.7 Level stakes it returns 3.96% My question is - how many bets would i need before i would consider the results to be stable. To set the record straight from day one, I am not trying to sell anything. Cheers wombat2 |

![]() I would suggest 3 lots of 150 selections .
Then compare the 3 batches. If one batch shows a strong profit & the other 2 batches , more or less break even , then we have a clearer picture if it has legs or not. I too have a program. Used in races with 12+ runners . It has a 92% success rate. Its called a RNS program. This stands for Randon Number Sequencer. Bet 10% Liability to bank..

Do you know the average price using the random number sequencer ( is that a special bit of software). Cheers wombat2 |

![]() Yes it is a special piece of software.
(Google) Randon Number Sequencer. The Lay prices can be anything . Just Lay up to the price range you feel you wish to go to. If one does not like the given price of a selection, go to the next race. Its best not to ask the sequencer for another number for that race because thats how one can get bit. Maybe bet 1% of bank on one runner per venue e.g. 7 venues = 7 selectioins. Max price 50.00 12 runners + Delete any Favs it picks & go to next race.

Random number generators do exactly that, select a number at random, from a given range. The fact it achieves a high S/R only proves the unpredictability of racing. Don't be fooled by the fancy language. Good luck Last edited by lomaca : 27th May 2010 at 01:39 PM. |
