![]() G'day all touching base from the old country here, what are the thoughts on this? I.E. say you are working to +20, so your nag is shown as $4 (3-1) so do you add 20% onto the $4 ,so your required price is $4.80c, or do you add the 20% to the ODDS only i.e 3-1 x 120% = $3.60c + the stake = $4.60, feedback appreciated.

![]() Add to your required price Party.
If your asessing your own prices always bet the overlays at your own asessed prices.$4 (3/1=$33) but you get 5/1 still bet $33. Cheers darky |

![]() Yes thats what I thought, but I've read several posts where the writer is adding the 20% onto the odds quoted which INCLUDE the stake. So in effect you are adding more than 20% which if that is the intention ok I guess!

![]() Jose, yes thanks for your help. haven't managed to get all of them but another forum member helping as well so I should end up with most. Great stuff and thanks again.
Some places don't have Wi-fi and others don't allow access to what they call "gambling" sites. so its bit difficult. |

![]() Technically, it should be added to odds, not price, which is a conversion from odds anyway.
If one wishes to convert from price instead of odds, use $5.00 as the median. We would then multiply all prices by 1.16 eg. $5.00 x 1.16 = $5.80 (= 4.8/1) Same as 4/1 x 1.20 = 4.8/1
