The odds are that noone has knowingly hijacked your email address.
This is what a virus usually does. Odds are someone who you have e-mailed in the past has some malware in their computer. This malware is then sending out e-mails from their computer pretending to be from you. There are usually links to click in the e-mail which will infect the person's computer with a virus if clicked. |

A simple way to stop this happening to your email again,
is set up a bogus email address starting with say AAA e.g. AAA@hotmail The virus will not be able to go past this first address because it is bogus, thus protecting your legit entries. Malware often gets around a number of virus protection programs, thats what makes them insidious. I would run this very good free Malware killer. I have used it myself & it worked a treat. This will remove the problem. http://www.malwarebytes.org/
