This staying Race is very difficult to be too accurate with so is hard enough even to find the winner without bothering with Exotics.
I'll be backing the animal that I can get Overlay from the top 4 selections.

Messed up in that Race.
The Overlay was Kurnai King @ $11.50 on Betfair.
Got a run for my $5 , but it wasn't to be.
I saved on a couple of Exactas with the top 2 selections to beat it, but again, close , but no cigar - another dollar gone.

Again, Exotics are too open , so I'll be looking for the Overlay to win this.
If the Overlay ain't the top selection, then I will save on an Exacta just in case.
Might even Box up 3 Overlayish animals in a 50 cent Box Quinella.

Well the Overlay was the #7 for the Win Bet and there goes $4 down the toilet.
Box Quinella went the same way with taking 1,3,7
But Fortunately the Market was so volatile that the top selection went right down to $1.40 for a while making it most animals Overlays , so I took the next 4 selections to run 2nd to the Favourite in My Exactas and therefore got back $20
My out was $9.50 , plus yesterdays $6 makes it $6 up which will go on Race 8 tonight.

Again its a Win Only bet on the Overlay.
And a Box Quinella of the 3 highest Overlays in the Race for 50 cents.

Tried to make something out of a Race that was simply too difficult in Race 8 and bombed badly.
But thats fine, am square overall.

In future I may just concentrate on the single Race and post thoughts early rather than rushed.
