Default Race 7

1st 2nd
1 5.17 25.58
2 5.23 25.60
3 5.20 25.48
4 5.25 25.23
9 5.38 25.72
6 5.31 25.72
7 5.17 25.58
8 5.14 25.43
I guess what seems an easy race for the #8, just might be a little more difficult than first expected.
If the #7 hinders the 8 at the start, makes the #4 task a lot easier, but also that of the other inside couple

when the #3 has won previously, the leaders of those races have run around the 5.09-5.11 and its been able to pick them up (splits adjusted to meadows)

When you do the Standard Deviations, would you delete a run where tha animal fell or finished tailed off?

Of course any Oops are deleted, but also you need to delete runs that are outliers in the data. These are times which are too fast or too slow.

If your using a monte carlo simulator to crunch data using the Std dev. be aware of a problem that most off the shelf stuff doesn't handle, say for example i have a dog with a time of 5.058 and a average std dev of .087 thats a normal std dev for a split at the meadows at some point in the simulations there the simulator will spit out times like 4.85 etc which we know is quicker then the track record. so you need to set minimum limits .
Hope that makes some sense
