does anyone have a number program to spit out all the various combinations in trifectas and first 4,s.
i know boxing is no value. so i need it to cover the selections as cheaply as possible.
would appreciate any ideas.have done it on paper but takes to long.
the ever hopeful trifecta backer.
thank you

Rooburger, there is an easy way to do it with a common calculator, providing your banker selections are common,i.e.included in your selections for 2nd,3rd,and 4th.An example:A 3x3x8 trifecta, deduct one from the 2d selections, and two from 3rd selections. So that trifecta is 3x2x6=$36 or $18 at a half unit.First4 example...3x3x8x8...deduct 1 from 2nd picks,2 from 3rd picks,3 from 4th picks=3x2x6x5=$180,or $90 at a half unit.Get my drift??I must stress that the 3 selections for 1st and 2nd must be common in the 8 selections for 3rd and 4th to work it out like this. Also most TAB's have printed booklets available with lots of combinations covered.Hope this helps, cheers mate, good tri hunting!
