![]() Just recently i had a discussion with a punting mate of mine,
As to how i graded races compared to what he does. I group them into poor average and good, Then i only bet on the good and average races. I only bet in melbourne sydney and queensland. I bet 7 days a week this gives me enough action. Poor betting races. Maidens. Hurdles and Steeples. 2yo races 3yo races Fillies and Mares. cl=1 cl=2 Any Restricted races.(Age related etc) Average betting races. cl=3. OR (B.M.70>) cl=4. cl=5 MW(such as 3mw 2mwly etc) cl=6 listed open group with, Prizemoney less than$20k. Good betting races. cl=6. Open. Listed races. GR=1. GR=2 Gr=3. Prizemoney greater than $20k. As i use ratings as my selection method i find, That a minimum of class 3 makes it easier to, Find winners. All age related races i eliminate. This doesn't mean lower races can't be bet in, Not at all others may find the complete opposite. All i am saying is this is what suits my style of. Betting others may be completely different and, More successful in other race types. Cheers. Garyf. |
