![]() Not rated as my best WA 3yo, but close. P Harvey 5 rides - 2 wins, J Whiting 6 rides - 3 wins, not including a trial win.

![]() Reported here in the press (The West Australian) yesterday (and I quote) that Paul Harvey has jumped off nominal WATC Derby hot-shot The Right Money to ride Conspirator in Saturday's final derby showdown, the $50,000 Melvista Stakes (2200m).
Harvey rode Conspirator when he made his derby bid with a strong finishing burst to nail Warning Tune over 2200m at Ascot last Thursday. Harvey's shift of camps came as no surprise to trainer Trevor Andrews. "Paul was always unsure about the ride," Andrews said. "I'm just happy he has made a decision early and we could get a suitable replacement. Jason Brown will replace Harvey on the The Right Money on Saturday. _________________ All the best from the West Sandgroper  [ This Message was edited by: Sandgroper on 2003-04-08 14:56 ] |
