At what point do you back for a place?
Well as a lot know i back for the win with multiple runners but seeing a runner run a place at $10 is a bit hard to take, although the win would have been nice.
I am sure some would have seen that race just then and am sure a few would have backed that runner, so i ask when do you think you should back each way?

Hi Shaun, if you must bet each way then the shorter the better. It's mathematically proven that less than 4/1 (not the other way around) is best for e/w. Email me if you'd like an explanation.
