Testarossa,
Very unlucky with Studebaker - I think it would have won for sure had it got a clear run but was squeezed badly and still managed a close 2nd. Hopefully we will get our money back on that one next run. On this topic does anyone know where I can download a copy of the Stewards report for R3 at Rosehill on Saturday? I know where to get the Victorian ones but can find the NSW ones anywhere.

Thanks for that Umrum. Had a look at the report and I think the riders of Citi Fella (M Bell) and Zabarra (Zac Purton) got off lightly - I have no doubt that between them they cost Studebaker the race but all they got was a warning that in future they should "stop riding and straighten their mounts". It seems amazing that the stewards can say that but also conclude that the interference could did not conclusively have a bearing on the finish of the race?

Totally agree Becareful.
I can understand how they dismissed the protest and i'm not filthy on that decision, but to give the 2 jocks a warning and nothing more is a bit wrong especially the rider of Citi Fella who kept laying out onto Studebaker because of tiredness, the thing is, is that if M.Bell stopped riding and straightened him up Studebaker would have gone straight past both horses and put enough space on Zabarra to win the race, even though Zabarra was doing his best and pulling away from Studebaker in the last 50m which was why the stewards dismissed the protest. |

Tersta,
Dorky has a very good chance as he has raced at group level a few times and is coming nicely into form. Cheers. |
