Hello All,

just thought I'd say hello to everyone, as I have just joined this group... I am a relative newcomer to the punting world, only betting semi-seriously now for about 8 months. I have been a member of the Ausrace list for about 6 of those, and notice from the posts that there are a few other Ausracers hanging around here as well.

I recognise that like all newcomers to the punting game, I have been through various stages, and will have more stages to go through yet. My current stage is "systems punter"... I have purchased a number of low cost systems over the past 12 months, some of which appear to be working quite well, and have also developed a couple of my own systems. I am a Price Predictor Pro user, and find this tool invaluable. I recognise that I really need to learn a whole lot more about form and horses, but I also realise I can only learn so much at any one time.....

My introduction to systems was at the hands of a brilliant salesperson who sold me a ********. I sure wish I knew about the existence of Ausrace or this forum before I parted with my hard earned on that one, would have saved me a couple of thousand.... I gather it's against the rules to name the system, so if you're interested in the name, then just think of a missle system they use on US nuclear submarines, and not the one starting with P either.

My background is maths and computers. I have some fairly strong views about maths and stats, and will argue my point of view strongly.... However, there's never any malice or personal attack intended, so if you do get offended by something I say, then please accept my aplogies upfront.

My aim is to be a full time punter within the next 12 to 18 months. I believe I have the strategy close to being right, I now just need to build my punting bank to a suitable size... Then again, I might just get blocked for a run on the turn, and lose it all... I am only punting with money I can afford to lose - so it won't hurt me financially if that happens - it'll only hurt my pride!

Cheers,
Chris.

Welcome to the forum Chris!

Don't pay too much attention to Tragic & Kenchar - you need to take their comments with a grain or two of salt

Look forward to your contributions.

Welcome to the madhouse Stebbo. So we now have two Ausracers slumming it [have accidently been getting all the "Pub" e/m for months. Can't stop the stuff] Whats happening at Ausrace ? Is this going to be a stampede ? lol lol.

Cheers.
