Just adding to the crticism about Melbourne - If you read Greg Hall's article in the Melbourne paper on the weekend, you'll agree that the Head Steward has no pump. He's allowed our man Beadman to ride in the Cox Plate. He's gone back on his word. Once again, the administration has let Melbourne racing down. Rules are Rules - Beadman should be out. Lonhro would win with a kid on his back.

I think you better get your facts straight Magoo. It was the racing appeals board who altered the original decision, not Des Gleeson. Just in case you did'nt know, an appeals board is an independant racing body that has absolutely no connection to Des Gleeson or Racing Victoria stewards. They found Gleesons initial punishment of Beadman excessive and cut his suspension by a day. If Des Gleeson had his way, Beadman would not be riding Lonhro on Cox Plate Day. I personally think it is a slap in the face to the Des Gleeson and his colleagues who handed out the original penalty.

Anybody else know where I can get set for 70000 to 30000 about Lonhro?
