Did any one read this in the paper Telegraph on the 26th April.
Sydneys biggest on course punters Sean and Kingsley stayed at home and bet on the phone saturday because they were banned from watching Betfairs transactions on there computer at the track. "Ken Callander went on to say that" they bet around $300,000 each saturday on the on course tote and more than $1 million a week. WOW How do they do it and return a profit, This gives me hope at least someone is making money if this is a true story?????? GD4TH |

What the.... The bookies are allowed quite a few concessions when it comes to being informed, surely they can't ban them from "watching Betfair". I can understand them prohibiting betting on Betfair because of the legality issue, but to stop them watching the prices is ridiculous - I'd have stayed home too!
