Question

Funny, with systems you usually follow a set of rules, but with your barrier system, i would guess you follow maybe 1-3 particular ones with some other filters, yet Appian Way is from the very outside, while Louie's Backyard is in barrier 1? How can you call it a system if the main criteria can change so much?

Maybe i'm missing something (very likely), or you have a strange set of rules ;-)

Chuck,

These systems are actually groups of smaller systems combined together. The 'Barrier System' is in fact a few different systems, some concentrating on the inside barrier and some on the outside barrier. Some parts of these systems are purely experimental, so please be careful if you follow them.

Why don't you call it "Barrier Systems:". Sorry for being so picky, i like things to be perfect a lot of the time so you can excuse my behaviour

Thumbs down

Chuck,

If the results continue as they are at the moment, this trial will last one day.

Anyway, I'll explain in a bit more detail later which of these systems I'm favouring and which ones I think I'll be mainly concentrate on.

For starters, I'll probably ditch the Maiden System on Saturdays. It's been going well on other days of the week (a $21 winner yesterday), but I'm not sure about Saturdays.

And as for R5 in Sydney, well I thought I had too many selections for the barrier system, so I changed one of the rules to make it a bit more restrictive. As a result, Navaho Princess was deleted. Isn't it amazing how you always know what you should have done AFTER the races.
