Why do we have to have GMT as our time system why can't we generate our own as per Eastern summer time,western time,Qld.time(1 hour and 10 years behind) etc.,etc.,?

Nothing wrong with sitting off the pace .......I love QLD and its quaint ways ..............better than living in the fast lane ...Lived the bulk of my life in NSW and ill let ya know for free that I aint going back .......I think the time thing has got something to do with domains where websites are run from a land far away or some such thing (I really dont understand)....another english(ithink)forum that i frequent has American time on it but you can go to your prefs and change the time to your own zone

Click on User CP above left. Then click edit options and scroll down.
You can then adjust the times you see on the forum to fit in with your local time.
