What I want to do is start this thread with $1000 and bet 2% and see how far I go .

Glad to see someone using pre-post prices, was watching the dogs fluctuate wildly a couple of days ago, 30/1 to 15/1 to 9/1 to 4/1, race starts, betting closes, price jumps back to 12/1. Pool was >$12,000.

Where are you betting...? On a single tote, or bookies...?
I would suggest that you bet on a platform that at least pays better than 2 totes.

The other day there was a dog that finished 2nd. It paid 1.04 on stab and 5.4 on nswtab.... Be dirty to be backing it on stab....
