TVN announced earlier this evening that they had reached a settlement with Sky so that TVN wll now be able to be shown via the Austar network. It would appear that Sky backed down in the dispute - one can only wonder why.

Finally .... Now will Austar offer it as part of a subscription service or will it be part of the normal package....

All I can say is finally I have been able to see the races on via bigpond but it was so choppy you may aswell just put the radio on. This is a major surprise as from what I had heard a couple of days ago they were nowhere near making a deal.

a few days ago austar withdrew its court challenge which was to be heard in may.
so it looked like a deal.
