Thanks heaps for the info fellas , as you can relate to the more info the better

Now what is better in this eg: a class 3 or class 6

Like how is it rated from class 1 through to an open class or vise versa?

Once again thanx

blownhemi,

It goes like this from least class to best...

Maiden
Class 1
Class 2
Class 3
Class 4
Class 5
Class 6
Open
Quality
Listed
Group 3
Group 2
Group 1

In amongst it are various other classes as well just to confuse the issue along with age and sex restictions, then you also have the anomoly of a class 6 race not being a "real" class 6, actually a class 3 or an Open.

You have to figure this out by looking at the actual class of the horses in this race compared to other horses in the same class of race.

It's a puppy's breakfast, but it gives you an idea anyway.
