Hi iggy25, don't you just hate it when something else splits what would have been a very good first2 multi!

Good get in any case with (2) paying $16+ for the win! and (7) $5+ for the place

If I'm playing the novelties I nearly always put my top pick with the field in either a quinella or exacta (or both) before placing my other bets.

A number of times I've collected well with top pick finishing 1 or 2 and a longshot (I didn't pick) filling the other position.

Just a thought.
