There you go. That's the weird thing about protests. 5th against 2nd was upheld. Now, the 5th horse probably would have won the race but for the interference, yet it only gets promoted to 4th place. Meanwhile the 4th and 3rd horses which weren't affected by the interference at all get promoted to 3rd and 2nd. Weird. I don't know what the answer is, but that doesn't seem exactly fair.

Okay, at this stage, Raw Instinct has a big lead over Svenvlad, but Sven will get up and win if Timboon wins the last race at Flemington.

In the other match, feather still has one race to go, but is too far behind, so Umrum will win that one.

Geez, he gave it a damn good go!!!

Thanks Sportz had a huge day today with Southern Courage, Unabated, Flame of Sydney and Liger for the place aswell would have been enormous if Liger had won on protest but hey I can't complain.

She saw a JNP guy [the jockey] in ancient dress in her tea leaves ..I kid you not!

I also scored on the quin and tri 3x5x5 [can't believe I had the tri in my first three selections ....see my Sudden Death comp. entry]. Last time I won the Cup tri. was when Rain Lover won!
