I agree with you Pixie. Think Freedman should train the first 3 winners on the program. Take a multi with these 3 i think. Then all that into Gold Edition, I can't see how she can be beaten.
The worry for Balcentra will be Chinchilla Rose. She will be riden better this time and will be right in it. |

great day of racing tomorrow
leaving the first 2 alone race 3- Belcentra big chance, doubt a price. been super impressive but hasnt beaten that much. Downhill Racer was good first up, likes the distance is a hope if it can overcome the barrier. Press the Button i think a value chance, 1 from 1 2nd up, is capable and could surprise. race 4- if Gold Edition tries then she wins, clearly the best horse. i think the danger is Royal Asscher, loves caulfield, two wins at the distance and has potential for an upset race 5- miss finland race 6- three main chances, i live Divine Madonna a lot here, great two runs this prep and is my bet of the day. bon hodda will obviously be thereabouts and if its wet Niconero a big chance race 7- couldnt go near weekend hussler at that price, i dont even have it on top. such a big class rise, i'm confident it will get rolled. chances to beat it Shrewd Rhythm with the blinkers, Marching has been very consistent, Davcon impressive last start and Pit Lane if its wet race 8- hard to go past Master O'Reilly, this will show if hes up to cups standard. chance for the upset is cancanelle |

corey brown for the jockeys challenge at 6.50
gold edition should win but imo it has been totally flogged and if youve got the time you'll see it averages one start every 15.5 days throughout its career weekend hussler certainly has run some time so he'll either blow em away or miss the place..don't mind husson lightning or barbaricus miss finland is working well so they say but i think its time for maybe better to step up am prepared to lay bon hoffa due to wet track and thought wonderful world, niconero and dr nip could be good chinchilla rose was great first up but like little arrow sonis quest will be short but am prepared to pot it for value thought archie senior and amerryking best wonderful world little arrow archie senior good luck lads..hope one of you can catch me in the punting comp lol |

DEAD A few showers. (Max: 17) Rail: Rail in True Position. (Pent: 5.13). Dead (4).
I'm going to bet against the shorties today as there is enough argument against them to take them on. The odds available for the other horses will be great! Divine Madonna needs a 'good' track and a fast pace. Gets neither today and has managed 1 lousy 3rd. from 3 starts here. Gold Edition has lost both starts at this track and is coming back from 1200m to 1000m which is never a good move. Will probably win but with the pace on don't be surprised to see Let Go Thommo [got left flat-footed last start with no pace] come out of nowhere from the rear to win. I'd agree with Mav. that Weekend Hussler is a potential star, but jumping from Hcp. straight up to G1 at odds-on? I'll take the odds for Hussain Lightning and Shrewd Rhythm. Miss Finland might not like the dead [untried] and has yet to win a G1 WFA. Probably win this but is a risk at ridiculous odds against Maldevian [loves a dead track]. Just Momente or Imagining [back to mares class] for the last. Last edited by crash : 13th October 2007 at 07:08 AM. |

Little Arrow showed a bit last time in
Gold Edition not a Caulfield lover and from that gate I'll be backing something to beat her - maybe Masked Assassin although the other two girls have claims Maldivian is getting better and better - i think he can win this Bon Hoffa is a superstar - he'll win Weekend Hussler has to be the biggest pot of the day imo What's he beaten? Court Command won the Golden Rose and was longer odds than him - still think their a few nice horses in it Marching looks a big chance and others with claims - Cecconi, Pillar of Hercules & the roughie Kinugawa |

Gee, didn't Maldavian make MF look ordinary [her in the kitchen backed it]?
Picked up an e/w on Gamble me $19.40w $5.30p, and an e/w place collect on Let Go Thommo. Got the small tri too [crappy]. Stupidly left out Devine Madonna from a first 4 [had 3] as I was convinced she hated the track. What a horse! Last edited by crash : 13th October 2007 at 03:12 PM. |

Weekend Hussler, what a champion! From a Sat. Handicapper to the G1 Guineas. Didn't back it at the shorts but I think we have just seen the Cox winner if he goes in.
