Default This tipping service

I hope I don't tread on anyone's toes here but does anybody out there have any comments on ...... Their free tip seems to do okay on Wednesdays and Saturdays and I'm interested in finding out if their other efforts are as good. If I have overstepped the mark I'm sorry.

Please note we do not accept posts asking for comments about a clearly identifed racing tipping business or software betting system that will pick and stake the winners for you due to the legal implications of publishing defamatory comments. We do not want people coming on here posting "I was ripped off by this business etc."

From the Forum Terms of Use:

The following posts are not acceptable:

Potentially defamatory or libellous posts.
This especially relates to the identifying of businesses, racing products, racing personalities or other individuals in a context that could harm reputations, even if justified.

Beagle,
There are numerous forums out there that belong to racing sites.
They are not scared of competition and/or members posting about results from racing methods, tipsters etc etc.
I can't post here as the forum police would have a heart attack.
If you require the sites you can email me at ppanard at optusnet dot com dot au.

Crash, I'm sorry if my post sounded like "spam" but that was never my intention. I was simply asking an innocent question. The results are easily obtained from the particular web site (which I can't name on this forum and I respect that) but I was really after a third person's opinion. Again, sorry if I upset anyone. I certainly have no connection to the site in question.

Hi Beagle.
I am not 100% sure if its the same service you are talking about , but their paid tips dont quite have the same SR.

They do show a profit most months if one uses a bookie service like IAS
If one uses the TAB, one will usually break even.

They had a run of 20 outs at one stage & ended up recovering with some good priced winners all on the same day.

In my opinion they would have to be better than 80% of other services out there.

Their selections run a place quite a lot, many of their paid selections are at good prices & it would not take too many winners to recover loses.

One of the chaps on another forum said he was happy with the 6% POT he has had over the last 6 mnths.

A stratergy that seems to work well with their selections is...
Using a $600 bank betting 1/50th = $12 per race.

Bet $12 win only, if $5.00 & less
Bet $2 win & $10 plc if $5.10+

Place bet at 1 min till jump.
Betting with Betfair.

Cheers.
