Say the placings for race 1 5,7,4. What is the prob of any of those numbers comming up in the remaining races.

I'm asking as I have seen this every day in both horses and dogs.

I'm sure the odds of those numbers coming up again and again are a lot better than in tattslotto, but I wouldn't put money on it!

There has to be a system in somewhere in this.

The first race at Ablion Pk was 2,8,1 and number 1 in the 2nd race was no 1 at a $1.70

My father once had a system on the Greyhounds that said if the same box had won at least 2 out of the first 4 races [invariably 1 or 8] you keep backing the same box and doubling up till you back a winner.

Worked fabulously for about 3 meetings lol.
