I think it is a disgrace that Melbourn'e Herald Sun does not have any fields or form for the meetings in SA (Port Augusta) and WA (Northam).

There are also many Trots and Dog meetings not covered. All we get is a list of "Also running today".

Not good enough!

I spoke to someone at the races yesterday who had phoned the paper and finally got it out of someone there that the paper wanted to be paid by the race clubs to publish the fields. I said, "Does the paper expect to be paid by the AFL to publish the AFL footy ladder or to publish the AFL teams each week? The paper is meant to be providing a service for its readers."

I think that's the same with Racenet/RISA etc. Only the major, Grafton meetings are put up on the Racenet i.e Ramornie/Cup. The CRJC links to the Racing and Sports site because of something along the lines of no cost to us or the industry.
