VicTab also have ratings published with their form on their website, however the timing of their appearance is somewhat erratic. They are often not available until the morning of the race meeting and are actually the Sky Ratings. These differ greatly from the ratings published by unitab. Obviously different criteria being used to assess a horses form by these two agencies.

No worries aidleo.
They can vary quite a bit too. Sometimes a Unitab 100 rater will only rated 69/79 on TAb ratings, so be wary that you may not get what you want from them. Became aware of this when researching an assessment of a system devised by a mate who is a bit of a left field thinker and then began researching something else for myself, which showed promise for 3 months then unceremoniously died in the A*se. Unitab are great in having them up the night before and make them available to everyone. To get the VicTab (Sky) ratings you actually need an account with Vic Tab or otherwise go down to the local TAB and read them from their form posted on the walls there. Good luck in finding what you need to get things going punt wise. Probably worth checking both out against the other depending on what criteria you add in addition to the 100 rater. |

While I do have a Supertab account, I collect the Skyrate tips and tabrate ratings after the races when I'm not logged in and I have no problem. Just click on the "FORM" or the "TIPS" tab and it will take you to the ratings. |
