Good to see you back Mystic. Hope you've been backing a winner or two. Is this just a short visit or are you back with some wise counsel for us all.

I agree with you Pardon me, i thought it was an average ride to say the least. I will admit that It was a good piece of riding to get out of the situation he put himself in, but lets get fair dinkum, Beadman should never have tried to go through a gap that was hardly even there. The race was run at Flemington where there is more than enough time/distance to have a crack at the leader, which makes Beadman's decision to try and split the two horses even more rediculous. Anyway, the champ won, that's the main thing, but just think how many lengths he would have won by had he been ridden properly.

Long time no hear from me punters. Whilst I queued for my stipend from the Lonhro wage line (place only), I did indeed miss the race. Given the amount of enthusiasm it has generated I wondered if anyone could direct me to a website I could download the footage from?

champion.

i think its a good thing that he had to overcome adversity or else he would have bolted in and poeple would have been sitting aroung saying how weak the 2004 australian cup was, like they have said about every other race hes won. you can only win and ********, the big black ************ knows exactly how to do that
