I tried that site again and it works, maybe it was a tech issue on there part, never mind i have changed the sheet i was using and can still access the prices with no real extra work so back to laying tomorrow.

Hi Shaun,

Just a quick question, how do you handle sites that have random event id's like betchoice and IAS?
The TABS are quite easy, but random event ids are killing me!

Not sure about IAS have not looked but Betchoice start with 1 set of numbers and progress 1 number forward each race.

What i have is a table that i will input each day.

BFV BetChoice
Sale 735182
Wyng 735174
Paug 735198
GCst 735191
Nort 735206

i just use some code to extract the info listed on the left from the betfair race name than i can use a lookup to get the first race number Betchoice use then i just add 1 to this for each race, i also extract the race number so i now how much to go forward, i will e-mail you a copy of my latest sheet for you to look at you might get some ideas to use or even have improvements on what i do.

As i said i was extracting ************** race info the same way but the site is unreliable so i have resorted to copy paste the days info in to my sheet and just extract what i need when i need it.
