Shamekha looks poor value at $3.20. I think a very open race, probably about 6/1 the field.

With little confidence I'll go for the John Hawkes trained Jamieson Valley EW. On the limit, suited by good track, 2nd-up record good and has won over 1400 running a fast 1-21.33 carrying 55.5kg, has a good alley and should take up posi just off the lead.

Carael Boy my roughie. Loves this track and distance and should be ready to fire at his 5th run after a spell.
