Here are my prices for todays Missile stakes.
Century Kid 52
Hosannah 134
Shogun Lodge 41
Ancient Song 81
Padstow 251
A very open and interesting race. Judging by the morning line I will be backing Century Kid and Hosannah. I have not had a good start to the season so far missing my price on Lonhro and under rating Star of Florida last week. Feeling uneasy about taking on Shogun Lodge this week but ya gotta trust your figures. Good luck to all. Would love to hear any opinions on the main race. Especially before the race.

PS
Did I really under rate Star Of Florida last week or was Callaway Gals run just not her real form? I suspect the latter. Opinions welcome.

Calaway Gal was only beaten 2.7 lengths.
Not a complete disaster. Also Calaway Gal was taken out by Athelnoth at the 200.
Extra caution at this stage is probably needed about Star Of Florida (has had a bleeding attack.)

Yes Cal Gal was fairly close at the finish. But on exposed form she is lengths better than Athelnoth and my recollection of the interference is that it happened much closer to the post. I did mention that Star Of Florida was a bleeder in my Post before the race and it was a small part of the reason I bet against him. I just feel that while Star Of Florida is a very fast horse he lacks the scope to beat the topliners over any further than 1000m.
