Looking outside the obvious selections, I came up with two chances at good odds...

#3 Sports and #8 Maguire.

Not saying these are the very best chances, but if you're looking for value bets, you could do worse than these two good horses.

Great tip with Sports, E.I.

A five-time WFA winner but this was his first win beyond 1200, and he hadn't won for more than two years. For an 8 year old, he's done amazingly well and apparently he's still capable of surprising at the highest level.

I didn't give Sports much of a chance at all yesterday, so well done, E.I., on going against the consensus and grabbing a big dividend. :wink:
