Default Stormers ???

I'm thinking the Saffie teams are all improving and therefore one of their super12 teams might represent value. But which one? Obviously not the Cats. I'd rate Stormers, Sharks, Bulls pretty close but in that order - although for no better reason than last years results.

Thoughts, opinions?

I think the S.African teams will continue to improve, but I just can't see them actually winning it. I reckon it will probably be between the big three again. Could be good value in picking a S.A team to make the finals though.

i did some pre-season ratings (not yet final):

Brumbies - 110
Crusaders - 77
Blues - 47
Sharks - 39
Waratahs - 37
Stormers - 34
Chiefs - 29
Bulls - 29
Reds - 10
Highlanders - 4
Hurricanes - 1.6
Cats - -1.6

Don't ask me what they mean, just putting together a new theory of mine, but will have even better and more detailed ratings soon!

Chuck, I don't know what your rating mean (especially if you don't) but surely Brumbies can't be that far ahead of the game. The top 3 are pretty close and home advantage may have a lot to say as who wins the minor premiership (if that's what they call it in S12). And no way Hurricanes are down with the Cats. They're better than Highlanders this yr at least.

Well, I reckon anyways.

Yeah, I've got no idea what those ratings are all about either. Very strange.

yeah, it might seem a bit confusing...i just used a string of calculations to come up with the order...it wasn't really ratings as suggested, but rankings with a number next to it :-)

Super 12 fixtures full season.

Date. Game. Venue. Time. (nz) adjust you jokers over there....go to this address....www.allblacks.com/index.cfm?Layout=S12Fixtures

There have been some big changes to the Kiwi and Yarpie teams over the summer months so be a little careful chuck. This season will be too close to call at this earl;y stage. I think you will find big advances in the SA teams this year as they appear to be over their internal problems....there will be at least 2 battling for a place in the finals plus 3 from here and of course 2 from Aussie....she's going to be one hell-of-a competition. All go on the 25th.

Keep the fridge full,

Squirter
