"Britain's bookmakers are facing up to a multi-million pound payout after favourite Hedgehunter stormed to victory in the Grand National."

"There are queues of people clutching winning tickets outside all 8,000 betting shops in Britain, and bookmakers will be paying out for days!"

"Hedgehunter had been backed at all rates from 33/1 before Christmas to 9/1 on the morning of the race, but was again well backed and started at 7/1 market leader."

Don't you just feel sorry for those bookies!

Thanks for that Paddy, I've got a warm "glow" all over me now, reminds me of me first bet on "Jay Trump" not sure what year that won it but I was about 12 so must have been 1963 or so, but anyway the tip was everywhere, seemed like every man and his dog was on it!
