a while back, mention was made of following certain trainers and seeing how you would go.. I decided to follow 5 or 6 that have caught my eye and surprise surprise you can show a profit provided you pick a trainer who doesnt have a huge number of runners... I have chosen the following trainers ( I really should have posted this yesterday, there were 5 winners and 3 place getters from 9 runners).. I will post them for a while and see how we go, I think long term we can show a profit with this lot:

XPT, I would add John MaArdle to that list as well, one of the best young trainers in the country at the present time - already won seven group races this season as a trainer. Had one runner yestereday that ran 3rd paying $3.80

Couldn't agree more. but I tried to limit it to 5 or 6.. and I thought those guys were the ones... I will keep a very close eye on Mcardle tho, if one of these ones I am trying costs us too much i might slip him in... thanks for the info..

we have found our first winner with these trainers... Palatine Hill did the right thing by us at $12.60/$3.00 (NSW TAb,) Another Adam ran a drum at $1.40 so all in all a good day...

not a good day today... both runners in Victoria scratched.. and I did not post the only place getter at Gosford.. I dont know how I missed it, but miss it i did... It was Snowswept which weakened for 3rd and paid $2.50

Tomorrows Runners Friday the 10th are all at Swan Hill and all DK Weir runners.

Lots of runners today..

looks like Dk Weir is giving the Swan Hill carnival his undivided attention, he has lots of runners there over the weekend.. John O'shea runner at Newcastle should give us a return... Mark Mason's runners at Tamworth are all worth looking at.. he has a great SR.. Mike Kent has the one runner at Flemington and is a real chance.. anyway with this type of system, form doesnt count for much we are depending on the trainers having a reasonable strike rate..
