BLOWING OWN TRUMPET VERY LOUDLY
Gday All
I think I love Gilgandra.. I might even move there I thought selecting the winner of race 4, Holoway at 12.30 was a nice way to go .. but how about race 5.. Kinther King, what a noble steed.. rated on top (posted for all to see) and WON at $83.60 (NSW TAB)... Not only that i found the $300 plus quinella for $1.,, Drinks on me fellas |

Gday Sportz...
my ratings are mechanical... it involvesTrack and distance performance as well barriers, days between runs as well as finishing possies last 4 starts as well as a couple of others.. I assign different weightings for each catergory. And that great horse ended up coming out on top... Quite clearly as well.. That is why quite often a real shortie will not show in my ratings.. But I will always remember backing horses at big odds than I remember backin the ones at skinny odds... I have been thereabouts with some long priced horses of late, but couldnt quite get em over the line.. There was a 50/1 shot st SScoast yesterday that managed 2nd... had a few like that lately... It's nice to get a good one,,,, finally... |

I'm in front today. Just had a good win on All Charisma. Still disappointed with how my tips have gone though.

I think I might end up in front today after a couple of ordinary days..
Just going back looking at the raw form for that good winner.. It had ticks in the following.. D, Track and Dist, quick back up (16 days) good barrier (6) came in 3 after scratchings Interestingly it was the only horse in the field that had won on the course (not the track) but the course for today's race.. an old bloke told me when I was a kid that horses tend to repeat... I have kept that in mind all my punting life and I think in the long run it has served me well... It will be intersting to see at the end of the day where the winners at Gil come from... I think the barriers will tell u a story.. The first 6 races only 1 winner has started from wider than 6.. and it was a 10/9 shot in the 2nd.. |

Yes, disappointed that I didn't put it in somewhere as I usually like those. |
