Default MOONEE VALLEY

Race 8. She's Gun.
Resuming from a spell.Scratched on a few occasions recently.
Won C1 Kyneton when resuming last prep. Followed with placings atTraralgon and Moonee Valley. Like most Final Card progeny, very speedy but injury prone.

Quadrella legs:
Leg 1. Magically-Strabedient-Crepes-Camaro- 1st starter, Culturalrevolution.

Leg 2. Satay-No Challenge-Ellenbank-Elbrus-Boulton.

Leg 3. Fuchsia Lady- should be too strong for these if repeats run behind Charmed Lady at most recent run.

Leg 4. She's Gun-Kiltanon.

$25-00/50c.

Typical. Load up the 1st 2 legs and the favs. win.
Take a $1-50 fav. 1 out and it gets beaten by a horse which could not win a C1 last time out.
Oh! The frustration of it all.
Nothing left to do but take She's Gun 1 out in a trifecta and hope for the best
he said to himself.

Gotta have a sense of humour to survive at this game.
The last time Danaman and She's Gun met, 4.5L win to She's Gun.
Really unfathomable the MV night meetings.

The two horses met over 12 months ago. A lot of water passes under the bridge in horse racing over a 12 month period.

You also need an intimate knowledge of the Moonee Valley track to be successful. It has some very unique characteristics that give certain runners a large advantage over others.

Brad

Thanks for your post Brad. Nice to get a bit of dialogue from someone.
Yes I'm aware it was 12 mnths. ago.
She's Gun had prev. won at kyneton, Traralgon and been placed at Moonee Valley so one could assume the track was not the problem.
I suspect in the case of She's Gun that soundness might be a problem.
She had been scratched a couple of times subsequent to trialling well.
Does your intimate knowledge of Moonee Valley provide you with a substantial profit.?

I must say that yes a good working knowledge of MV allows you to eliminate a lot of horses not suited to today's race.

I have found that even though a horse has won at MV does not mean as much as other tracks.

Last night, I attended the meeting to only back Dantage in Race 4, because conditions were perfect for that horse. It won even after the jockey dropped the whip at 60m to go and had to use his hand.
