Crash's Pre-post System
He is one of my personally designed systems that does OK and throws up some good priced winners and is in profit after 2yrs. of off again on again use.
1. Go to: http://tabform.thewest.com.au/jspcontent/TFFrameset.jsp after they have the PP odds up. [can use any pp source inc. newspaper but stick to the same one]. 2. Consider any race meeting except WA or TAS. [also Ipswich races] with a Good track only. 3. Ignore any maidens, Hurdles, Stakes or Group races, Cup races, less than 1100m races or more than 2420m races. 4. Ignore any race with a $2.50 or less pp fav. 5. Note 2nd and third pp fav. [if 2 horses are the same odds the smallest tab. no. is 2nd. etc.], if they have a 't' or 'd' and are at least 3rd. up and in barrier 1 to 9. 6. Horse must be 3 to 5 yrs. only and must have last raced within 21 days. 6. Go to: http://www.racingandsports.com.au/racing/ and click on 'Stewards room' in the left column. 7. Check gear changes on that page and ignore any runner with a gear change. 8. The 2nd. fav. is your bet unless it is disqualified by any of above. The 3rd. pp fav. is then your bet unless it is also disqualified. 9. Any qualifier must have won in the 'good'. There is an advanced form of this system that takes into account the runner's racing style [Leader, On pacer, Mid-pacer or Back-marker] and is the one I use. To use the advanced system you need a form service that denotes that info ['Past the Post' or similar]. With that info., leaders and On-pacers must be in the inside barriers, Mid-pacers and Back-markers in the outside barriers. It make a difference [especially for Back-markers] but barrier 1 to 9 generally works OK in the scheme of things. Last edited by crash : 27th February 2007 at 05:40 PM. |
