First of all i thought lucky lil' was wrong in saying that sunline was under the odds for one reason only. Sunline should have been weighted with 60 kg instead of 58 kg. For a horse who has won 2 cox plates and a doncaster, Sunline should have carried 60 kg. Although the doncaster was full of many quality horses, there was a few horses that were a lot more classy, so really the Doncaster could have been a good betting race. I believe there was only two champions in the race who were always going to be in the finish and as for the other place it could have been filled out by a number of horses. THose two champions are shogun-lodge and sunline. In one of my posts i gave emission as a tip knowing that a place would be the best possible result for the horse. After writing the post i realised that in fact emission was a poor bet as there were many equal if not better chances for third place.
