Yes, and wasn't very happy... I mean So Assertive was across the line, or so I thought last night.(7/4 with Bill Hurley). Anyway, the only risk to the horse was if the connections, you know who I mean, didn't want the horse to do too much work in the race, as they have bigger plans ahead. Even after taking this into account, I still thought So Assertive would win, but would have a saver on Wyangan Pines. When So Assertive opened up at $3.00, and blew out to $3.50, I smelt a rat! So I turned to Wyangan Pines, only to see it at $5.50? A double rat was smelt! What's going on? These guys new these 2 horses were never going to win the race, and they never looked like going close... How do the fleas know this stuff? I, and my punting buddy were in shock at the result of the race... And what about the way So Assertive was all over the place in the straight. I thought he will win the Caulfield Cup this year, and still do, but what do you make of the race?
