Default Why Are Racegoers So Unkind?

The immortal words of performer, "Kamahl" which he utilized so well during his performances over several decades and endeared him to every audience.
It nauseates me when some sycophant media commentator asks "why isn't this individual accepted by the racing public?"
Well, the answer is simple...since the days of George Moore, "Miracle" Mal, and then "the dazzler" the racing public have been "spoiled"/blessed with seeing the absolute "champion" riders displaying their skills on a weekly basis.
Accordingly, they will not accept anything but perfection from the current crop of riders and that is the way it should be......!
Also, in today's tough economic times why should they risk their ever dwindling cash reserves on anything other than the optimum of performance excellence...ie not to see horse's chances "absolutely slaughtered?"

Cheers.
