I have only been really following racing closely for the past 3 years. In those three years, the Melb Cup has been won by horses paying double figures ranging from around $18-$50. Does anyone have any stats on the cup race and what the average price of the winner is? Also, how many times has the fav won?

I have had a look myself, can find the winners history since the first cup, but no divis.
